training

Going above and beyond state
& city requirements

Continuous and ongoing training – Hatzalah EMT’s attend monthly training, to continually practice and upkeep our skills. Members also go through an annual skills test.

  • Classes are given by local Medical staff consisting of our Medical Director, local ER doctors and specialists.
  • Hands on training consists of real-life scenarios and are proctored by our QA/QI Coordinator.
  • All classes require sign in to track attendance.

To ensure our first responders are continuously improving, our QA/QI coordinator sits with each and every member monthly to review responses and provide guidance, direction, and mentorship.

  • Call reviews
  • One-on-one mentorship sessions
  • On-call expertise as needed

Hatzalah provides community first-aid and CPR training to community members involved in camps and schools. Hatzalah also teams up with local medical providers, in order to provide community aid and care. To contact us about local training please reach out to [email protected]
